Tragic MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli was remembered by top Italian football teams today.
Serie A teams including AC Milan, the side supported by Simoncelli, held a minute's silence ahead of their games.
At Rome's Olympic Stadium, where Roma took on Palermo, a picture of the 24-year-old was flashed up on the big screen ahead of the match.

Simoncelli was killed at the Malaysian MotoGP today when his bike veered into the path of two others.
He sustained serious injuries and died a short time later.
