10. Kim Kardashian – Ferrari F430
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is usually photographed in her black Bentley Continental GT, but this Ferrari F430 is a notch above the GT. Kim makes a boatload from various endorsements including her perfume line, diet pills, appearances, etc so she can certainly afford the $3,812 monthly payment, and that's after putting 20% down. Other reality TV stars in our celebrity auto loans section also have ridiculously expensive cars. Maybe being on a reality TV show is worth the paycheck, especially if it buys you $500,000+ worth of vehicles.
9. Paris Hilton – Bentley GT Continental
Paris Hilton wanted her pink Bentley Continental GT to be extra special, so she ordered a $285,000 diamond-encrusted dashboard for some extra bling. The heiress bought the pink Bentley as a Christmas present for herself in December 2008. Paris said of her generous gift to herself, "I've just always wanted a pink car. I think when you're a little girl and you have the Barbie Corvette you're always like, 'Oh, I wish I had a car like this one day,' so I think it just comes from being a fan of Barbie for so long." It looks like a Pepto Bismal bottle! Everything is pink-- the sheetmetal, grille, wheels, and most of the interior. We’re not really fans of the color, but we’d still take her as a Secret Santa!
8. P. Diddy – Maybach
Sean P. Diddy Combs gave his son Justin arguably the best Sweet Sixteen gift a kid could receive—a car. But this isn’t just any old 4-wheeler. Justin’s present was a Maybach, one of the most expensive cars on the market. His new was wrapped in a red bow, and came equipped with a driver to escort him around New York City because Justin didn’t have his license yet. Not exactly the typical car people learn on!
7. David Beckham - Custom Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophe
David Beckham is often spotted cruising Beverly Hills with his three sons in his fully customized Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead. This particular model features custom built 24" Savini Forged wheels, color-matched exterior trim and Beckham's "23" embroidered onto the seats.
6. Jay Leno – Mercedes SLR McLaren
Jay Leno is a huge car fan. He has a 17,000-square-foot garage filled with cars like a 1906 Stanley Steamer, a 1970 Dodge Challenger to the more recent EcoJet. In fact, Leno has so many cars, he has a Web site devoted to his collection: JayLenosGarage.com. In the picture above, the comedian/talk show host stands by his Mercedes SLR during Robb Report’s “Best of the Best” in Santa Monica, California. This is Jay’s favorite car in his collection; he says it’s the fastest car he’s ever driven—speedier than a Porsche! But seriously, what’s not to love about it?
5. Nicolas Cage - Ferrari Enzo
Nick Cage eventually sold this masterpiece, possibly because of the massive amount of debt he’s recently accrued. His Ferrari Enzo went 217 mph, or 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. Featuring a F140 Aluminum V12 Engine, only 399 have ever been produced. Bet he got used to driving fast after Gone In 60 Seconds, and needed a racecar for everyday life. But we think a few extra dollars in the bank is more important than a car you can’t afford.
4. Jerry Seinfeld - Porsche 959
Seinfeld, an automobile enthusiast and avid car collector, owns one of the largest Porsche collections in the world. He rented a hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, in Santa Monica, California, for an extended period of time during the 1990s, for storage of some of the vehicles in the collection. After his return to New York City he was involved in an extended dispute with several neighbors over the proposed building of a $1.4 million multi-story garage to contain the 46 cars. The centerpiece is a $700,000 Porsche 959, one of only 337 ever built. But unfortunately for him, Jerry can’t drive it! The car doesn’t pass US emissions test!
3. Simon Cowell - Bugatti Veyron
Simon may look cranky on American Idol, but he’s all smiles when he drives around his bangin’ Bugatti Veyron. This ride can reach 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and up to 267 mph – making it the second fastest in the world. Simon has also collected a Ferrari, Rolls Royce Phantom, and is on the waiting list for the 100EX Cabriolet. Guess he’s not quite as judgmental when it comes to cars!
2. Rapper Birdman - Bugatti Veyron
Southern rapper Birdman has treated himself to a Bugatti Veyron. Not only is the European car one of the most expensive in the world but it also the fastest street legal car on the planet. And the rapper—real name Bryan Williams—takes pics of himself in the ride as much as possible. We’ve got to hand it to him—he’s doing pretty well between being CEO of Cash Money Records and his own music. His very own business card reads: "I am expensive.”
1. Jay Z - Maybach Exelero
Guess when you’re on the top of Forbes’ lists every year, you can afford an $8 million ride. The Maybach Exelero looks like the freaking Batmobile! He drives the Maybach Exelero in the music video of his song, “Lost One”. It can reach a speed of 218.38mph, despite weighing over 2.66 tonnes. It is capable of acceleration from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds. It was originally made as a one-off for Fulda Tires back in 2005, but now Maybach is manufacturing them for the general public. Not like anyone can afford them!
