It's is not the full review, as this will be posted at a later date, once the car goes through the whole battery of CR tests, but that doesn't mean they haven't done a lot with the car so far.
At this point, it is praised for its driving range, which they say is about 200 miles or a little over 320 kilometers, its driving dynamics, its comfortable and quiet ride, and surprising practicality brought about by the extra front trunk and rear-facing third row of seats.
Performance is also noted as being a strong point, and while CR doesn't have the Performance model to test, the 0-60mph (0-96 km/h) time of 5.6 seconds and the instant torque of the regular model don’t really leave them wanting for more.
Another advantage of the Model S is the fact that, its battery pack is so heavy and mounted so low and in between the two axles, that it gives the car unparalleled cornering capability and agility, courtesy of its very low center of gravity. Just watch the second one of the videos we posted after the jump, and see the luxury EV sliding around surrounded by tire smoke.
